Christ is with us!

Please see the info, below, from Fr James Bankston regarding the events at Holy Angels this weekend, including our joint liturgy on Sunday, 8 November at 9:00 am as we help Holy Angels celebrate their patronal feast with their bishop.

Your support is greatly appreciated!

In Christ,
Fr Shaun

From Fr James Bankston:

Glory to Jesus Christ!

A reminder that this Sunday, November 8, is the Feast of the Holy Angels - our Patronal Feast.

Bishop Artur will be here during the weekend festivities which includes the Day Retreat on the Holy Angels starting with Divine Liturgy at 9:00 AM Saturday.Various presentations, prayer, and food will follow until 4:00 when Confession will be available and at 5:00 bishop Artur will preside at Great Vespers with Litija and the Holy Mystery of Anointing.

On Sunday beginning at 9:00 AM will be the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy followed by our annual festive luncheon to celebrate the feast with Bishop Artur.

Sunday will be your last chance to buy tickets for the Basket Raffle. Bishop Artur will draw the winning tickets at the luncheon.

SPECIAL REQUEST:
We need a number of rice cookers to prepare the rice for the Sunday Luncheon. If you have one (the bigger the better) that you would be willing to loan us on Saturday, please bring it to the Hall on Saturday - along with instructions on using it to cook rice.  There will be some Resistant Starch Rice available for those who are watching their glucose.
